Through a series of hands-on classes, we connect the students with entrepreneurs who have built their own pathways to success. They share their backgrounds, their first attempts, their failures and, of course, their successes. Students learn the power of problem solving, creative thinking, networking and unwavering determination.

Making Connections
Our teachers understand. They know what it feels like to face barriers and seemingly unsurmountable obstacles. They are familiar with poverty and what it is like to grow up as an underserved youth. They realize that it can seem like there’s no way out.
Higher education has gotten more expensive than ever before. The pathway to a decent career can seem out of reach. Our program connects students with winners who have faced similar challenges and help guide them to find their way.
Through a weekly program, students hear amazing and inspiring stories directly from winners and they are challenged to work through creative solutions. This is no ordinary classroom. This is real life, grass roots entrepreneurship.

Dream Rides Entrepreneurship is grateful for the camaraderie of two excellent programs- Discover U and The Fellowship Initiative. These programs know the power of experiential learning and offering direction to young people who may face tough circumstances and are eager to do their very best.
Discovery U offers dedicated, underserved students extra opportunities for advancement through experiential learning.
The Fellowship Initiative, a JPMorgan Chase program, provides intensive academic support and leadership development for young men of color.
Both of these dynamic and highly effective programs have been incredible partners with Dream Rides Entrepreneurship. The guidance and financial support of these great programs allowed us to work together to teach, guide and inspire youth and to generate positive, transformational change. From despair to hope to determination.
The Program
We offer a hand up, if you’re willing to work for it.
Dream Rides Entrepreneurship provides a direct connection between hard work and rewards. Students in our program attend a series of classes focused on hands-on, grass roots entrepreneurship. Each class is led by a local entrepreneur who built their own path to success from humble beginnings.
- Multi-Week entrepreneurial program

Our students learn the true stories of dreamers who turned their determination into success. These leaders are not from places of privilege. Our instructors come from humble beginnings without large bank accounts. They faced obstacles of poverty, unstable home lives and unsure futures. But through their own ingenuity and determination, they found their way.
