History

Our focus is not on cars. It's about about inspiring belief in oneself.

Dream Rides Entrepreneurship was founded in 2021 by local Texas native, Mychal Warren.

“I’ve been infatuated with cars ever since I was a little kid. I loved the way they looked, the way their exhausts sounded when they drove by, and how just seeing an exotic car could make my day. I would literally dream of being a professional race car driver and driving famous cars I saw on Top Gear. I still remember being four and crying seeing my favorite car, a Ford GT, because I was worried that I would never be able to own a car like that when I grew up. I never want a kid to think that they can’t own the car of their dreams like I did.“

Although Mychal was put off by the preventative high price tags of exotic race cars, he wanted to turn his fascination into knowledge. So, in his free time outside of the demands of school and part-time jobs, he networked to meet local entrepreneurs and find out how they paved their way to success.

Mychal childhood dream was to become an F1 driver, but unfortunately, that wasn’t in the cards for him. At age 19, having experienced what an exotic car is capable of on track, He was overwhelmed with an unparalleled sense of motivation to work hard for the car of his dreams. After recognizing the impact that the track experience had, Mychal felt obligated to provide underserved youth with a similar track experience in hopes of motivating them to work hard for the car of their dreams as well. That sense of obligation resulted in the founding of Dream Rides Entrepreneurship. The purpose of Dream Rides Entrepreneurship is to provide vision, confidence, and a pathway to success. This isn’t about making a lot of money or buying expensive toys. This is about providing real skills towards adulthood. We remove mental obstacles and create change through shared experience, networking, creative thinking, and steadfast confidence.

“I created Dream Rides Entrepreneurship from my college dorm room 1600 miles away from Houston, but I didn’t do it all by myself. I had a team behind me that helped me work through problems, refine ideas, and push Dream Rides Entrepreneurship to the next level. I could not do it without them! Dream Rides Entrepreneurship wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for my team, our generous sponsors, and the car owners across Houston. I cannot begin to thank y’all enough.”
